DIA DO PAI | FATHER'S DAY

Amo-te pai e faltas-me!

There are commemorative dates that are not all ...because all other days are (or should) be like that.

To point out that woman's day is not only on 8 March but rather every day of our lives, or Valentine's Day on 14 February should be every day are examples of this. Being true there is a day that is destined to praise a celebration of any kind.

Father's Day .....it is particularly on these dates that the lack marks us.

I lost my father it will be almost 4 years and I find myself thinking how I have bear so much?

I miss him all the days of my life, when our pillar is gone, the structure shakes, we could fix it  and it  will look  beautiful on the outside, but inside it will always be a patched open wound.

I lost him suddenly, life was running as normal...everything was perfect.

That year, in that month on that date my niece turned 3 years, on September 9, the day my world fell apart.

The impact of loss, the pain of losing someone is brutal, they say that time heals .. it may heal momentarily but time ties us to saudade (a deep Portuguese word that is more than "i miss you")

We can find comfort in the most varied theories, we can repeat to ourselves as many times as we want that the physical is not everything, although I believe in this "theory" (yes I believe there is more than this) I deeply wished 1 minute to the world that I could hug my father ... to see him smiling ...

It has been difficult ... it has been easy, the friends, the family help to tolerate the pain of the loss, it is in my silence that I cry, that I speak with him and that I get angry about it for him having gone so soon, for not having allowed being in so many situations of our life.

He left...

The truth is this, it's gone!

We stayed here to build a new path, new memories but never erasing the memories he left us always rememberthe past memories in the present and the future of our lives.

I love you dad and I really miss you!
